In a press conference held at B-PEP Headquarters tonight at 5:30pm, Chairman / CEO Tim Stevens called on the Allegheny County Democratic Party to abandon its undemocratic practice of charging fees for consideration of endorsements from the party.
Noting how these fees raise barriers of entry for minority candidates who wish to seek higher office, the Black Political Empowerment Project and our partners call for an immediate end to the practice.
