“This directory, we want to get this all around our city, our county and we want to utilize it. We don’t want this to just be something that sits on the desk, or the table or the counter. This needs to be utilized.” - Shayla Holmes, CEIR Executive and Youth Summit Peace Coordinator, Coalition Against Violence

The Black Political Empowerment Project (B-PEP) and the Greater Pittsburgh Coalition Against Violence (CAV) announced the release of the 4th Edition of the Community Services Directory on Monday February 26, 2024 at B-PEP's headquarters.

This directory is nearly 80 pages with a detailed Table of Contents, where many services are listed by neighborhood. We are honored that so many wonderful agencies and organizations in the area have agreed to be included in this important document.

We are unveiling this 4th Edition of the B-PEP/Greater Pittsburgh Coalition Against Violence Community Services Directory as we are nearing the conclusion of Black History Month 2024, as hopefully a significant contribution to the Black Communities of the Pittsburgh Region, and to all communities in need of important and expansive services to help people heal from the impact of

violence.
